Visitor Parking

Visitor parking is a feature that allows residents, and visitors to book visitor parking spaces. Upon booking, a parking pass is generated and sent to the email address provided in the booking.

Parking bookings can be optionally made from a kiosk, enabling direct printing of parking passes.

Add visitor bays

  • Go to Community / Parking in the sidebar.
  • Click the + Space button.
  • Add the space name eg. Visitor 1 and click save.

Enable booking in portal

  • Go to Community / Portal in the sidebar.
  • Ensure the Visitor Parking Booking is checked.

Booking via the site portal

  1. Go to your site portal.
  2. Click on the Visitor Parking button
  3. Enter the visitor expected arrival time, duration, registration, and mobile, and select an available space.
  4. Click the Create Booking button

View bookings

To view bookings, go to Parking in the sidebar and view recent Bookings. To view all bookings, click the View All link.

Parking Passes

Parking passes are sent to the email address provided in the booking.

A parking pass is a PDF file that can be printed out and displayed in the vehicle.

Parking passes contain the following information:

  • Registration number
  • Parking space
  • Booking start time
  • Booking end time
  • Booking QR Code

The QR code can be scanned by anyone to validate the parking pass.

Kiosk

A Kiosk setup enables direct printing of parking passes through a connected printer. In absence of a kiosk setup, parking passes are sent via email.

Suggested hardware

  • iPad (10th generation or later)
  • iPad Security Mount
  • Label Printer (eg. Brother QL-810W or similar)
  • WiFi Setup
