Introducing Contractor Sign In

Today we are excited to announce the launch of our new contractor sign-in feature. This is a simple and effective way to track contractor access to your building.

We’ve been beta testing this with a few of our customers over the last few months and the feedback has been great. We can’t wait to share this you!

For years, strata buildings have relied on outdated methods to track contractor access. Paper sign-in sheets are easily misplaced, difficult to audit, and provide no way to verify contractor credentials in real-time.

Some buildings have attempted to modernise by using Microsoft Forms or Google Sheets, but these solutions still leave gaps and create administrative overhead.

What buildings really need is a fully integrated system that:

Automatically verifies contractor insurance and licenses
Provides real-time visibility of who is on-site
Maintains a searchable digital record of all contractor visits

How it works

Frictionless is key. It’s great having a system, but if it’s too difficult, it won’t get used. Our implementation is as frictionless as possible.

Contractors can sign in and out using their mobile phone, by scanning a QR code or by entering their details.
We request location permission to ensure the contractor is on-site 😉.
We match company details against your building’s approved contractors list.
We send you email notifications for each visit.

Contractor Sign In

Fully Integrated

Contractor sign-ins are fully integrated with the rest of Onsite. In this way, you can link an ‘attendance’ to a Case, or Work Order, and include all sign in activities in reports.

What’s next?

We’re really excited about what we’ve achieved with our first iteration of this feature. In future updates, we’ll be expanding the capabilities to add support for induction processes, linking to invoices and more.
